The aTouchAway Free Application offers the following features :

On the page, you will find four options. The first option is for iOS devices (iPhone and iPad) and downloads the app from the AppStore. The second option is for Android operating systems and will download the aTouchAway Free App from Google Play (Android). The third option is for MacOS platforms and downloads an executable file (.exe) for MacOS.  Launching the .exe file will automatically install the Free App.  Finally,  the fourth option is for all devices using the Windows operating system.  The download will consist of an executable (.exe) file that when run, will install the aTouchAway Free App on the device.

First, download and install the aTouchAway Free Application.  Next, launch the application. This will bring you to a login page.  To register, click on the button marked Create yourself an account.  You will be brought to the registration page where you will be required to enter some basic information in the text boxes provided.  When you have finished entering the desired information, click on the button marked Register aTouchAway.  The action will cause a validation email to be sent to the email address you provided.  Following the instructions provided in the email will complete the registration process and activate your aTouchAway account.

Yes! aTouchaway has a Desktop App that you can install on your computer. To download the app, click here and choose your type of system (Windows or Mac).

It is possible that your system protects your computer from the safe aTouchAway App. To open the app, simply hold the control key on your keyboard and click on the Aetonix icon simultaneously. You will then have the option to open the application.

Yes! Simply download the appropriate aTouchAway Free App and sign in to your account using the email address and password you have provided at registration.

First, sign in to your aTouchAway account using your old email address. Once you are logged in, click on Account Menu to access your personal information. Under the Email/Privacy section, modify the existing address, confirm it by re-entering it, and click Save. Your email address will now be updated at sign-in.

Yes! Once you are signed in to your account, click on Account Menu to access your personal information. Under the Email/Privacy section, enter the new password, confirm it by entering it a second time, and click Save. The password will now be updated at your next sign in.

It is possible that the changes made were not successfully saved during your last session for multiple reasons, one of them being the omission of clicking the Save button. Try logging in with your previous email and/or password. If this is successful, the changes made previously had been unsuccessful. Click on your Account Menu to repeat the changes, and click Save. Ensure that the “Successfully Saved” message appears.

Yes, it is possible with the aTouchAway Free App! As long as you can both remember your email addresses and passwords, it is not a problem. Simply log out of your own account by clicking your Account Menu and clicking the log out button at the bottom of the page. Your friend can now sign in with his account.

Most Android tablets and iPads are supported by the aTouchAway solution. However, the following devices are recommended for care use: Samsung Tab E, Samsung Tab S2, Samsung Tab S2, and all variety of iPads.

Aetonix offers a bracelet to pair with the aTouchAway solution that allows to respond to voice and video calls from a distance. The user simply has to press the bracelet’s button to answer a call or hang up. The bracelet also allows the detection of falls and wandering, as well as emergency calls.

The aTouchAway solution can be paired with a bracelet that enables fall and wandering detection and allows a user to press the emergency button of the bracelet to initiate an urgency call. Designated urgency contacts can be alerted immediately when a fall or wandering occurs, or when the emergency button is pressed. When an emergency occurs, urgency contacts receive calls one at a time, at a set time interval, until one of them answers the call. The order of calls to urgency contacts, and the time interval between calls to the different urgency contacts can be determined by the designated account manager.

Yes! aTouchAway offers the option to schedule the time at which you should appear online or offline. Simply click the Account Menu and select Edit status schedule. Click Add a new schedule to create a timeslot when your online or offline status will change. The account menu also allows you to set an automatic reply to text messages received while you are offline.

This issue occurs when the internet connection of one or both participants is weak. Examples of occurrence of weak connection are using your device in an isolated area of a building such as the basement, or using your device outside of a building providing you with your wireless internet connection (WiFi). Try relocating yourself to an area where the internet connection is more accessible to your device such as open public areas of a building or closer to the internet router if you can locate it.

Once the connection is established, various communication tools are available to you. One of them is the control of the output for sound: speaker or headphones. Ensure that the right output is selected. Click the output button to change the output if necessary.
